What Makes The Eye Cream So Good?

What Makes The Eye Cream So Good?

So, the Luxury Firming Eye Cream that we refer to as ‘Gaze’.

Don’t be fooled by the ‘Eye’ part of the name, this is a fantastic product for your neck, décolleté and backs of hands! Pretty much anywhere you feel has been punished by the Sunny weather we’ve been having will really appreciate an application or two of this Firming ‘Eye’ Cream.

In brief, it will:

  • Regenerate collagen
  • Repair elastin to tighten the skin
  • Repair Sun Damage
  • Reduce inflammation
  • Reduce appearance of dark circles

How can one little 30ml bottle do all of this?

The Knight in Shining Armour is Poppy Seed Oil. Poppy Seed Oil is an excellent oil for damaged, mature, dry and choppy skin. It’s a “protective” and “covering” skin care ingredient.

Bit of Science for you, Poppy Seed Oil contains phytosterols which have shown in clinical tests to have great anti-aging benefits to the skin. It is reported that phytosterolsnot only stopped the slowing down of collagen production, but it also encouraged new collagen production.

It also contains high concentrations of linoleic acid (an omega-6 fatty acid) that imparts anti-inflammatory properties. This is the perfect benefit for anyone that has skin barrier damage or sensitive skin.

Something I apparently need to make pretty clear- fear not, this type of Poppy Seed Oil is in no way similar to the terrible kind that makes Opium or Heroin. It was an interesting Google session, but I can assure you that opium is derived from the un-ripe seeds and heroin is synthetically made from opium. So, don’t worry, you will not become addicted to this Eye Cream, until you see the results of course…

Then we’ve got the Grapeseed which is rich in GLA, this will effectively tighten the skin and help reduce the appearance of dark circles around the eyes. Umm, yes please! GLA stands for Gamma-linolenic Acid, it was first isolated in the seed oil of evening Primrose and was grown by Native Americans to treat swelling. It became a popular remedy in Europe within the 17th Century earning its name ‘Kings Cure-all’.

We’ve also got the Aloe Vera that doesn’t need much explanation, but it is the ultimate for repair, relieving irritation, reducing inflammation and calming sensitivity.

A good trick with this one is to apply generously at night and allow to just soak in and indulge the skin in all the lovely ingredients. I’m confident you will wake up with softer and more supple skin!

Don’t forget you will get this awesome ‘Eye’ Cream FREE this weekend if you spend £50 or more. Shop the Eye Cream Here.
