Detoxifying Face Wash | For Oily & Acne Prone Skin | 200ml

"This face wash does not dry my skin out, I feel really clean and refreshed after using it, I was worried as too much water and soap is not good for the skin, but this helps to clean without drying, and I also like that it is a natural antibacterial product so you can be sure any dirt from the day is getting thouraghly washed away. This goes well with the face oils after so you can really hydrate your skin." Kate SAYS.

ACTIVES & INGREDIENTS

We recommend washing your face morning and evening to remove all the impurities, dead skin cells and remove any excess oil that contributes to breakouts. The build up happens 24 hours a day, whether you're on the train or sleeping in your bed so keep it clean.

Use warm water, not hot water and avoid using any harsh exfoliating agents or cloths. Scrubbing your skin surface can cause it to irritate and inflame. We have a lovely Konjac Sponge that is gentle enough to use should you wish to exfoliate as well.

Don't fall for the 'acid'

A lot of over the counter Acne products will be packed with Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid & Lactic Acid. It can be so tempting to go for something that you know will give you the burn but for that exact reason is why you should avoid them. Those ingredients are incredibly drying and can cause some nasty reactions.

If you do try something with those ingredients in, do not apply to open spots. It will STING! We highly recommend avoiding if you have sensitive skin.

Active Unadulterated Ingredients...

Cellulose

In 2012, Janelle Tam from Ontario won first place in the Sanofi BioGENEius Challenge in Canada (SBCC) in the ‘how will you change the world?’ category for her application in nanocrystalline cellulose research.

She proved that Cellulose from plants was a powerful antioxidant and may be superior to Vitamin C or E because it is more stable, and its effectiveness will not diminish as quickly. Natural Elements is the first beauty brand to use cellulose in their natural formulations.

Peppermint

A host of natural actives provide antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial support to unbalanced skin.

We only use organically derived, unadulterated therapeutical botanical oils. These natural raw materials are so well protected and cared for to maintain all the nutritional goodness from the plant. At a molecular level these are highest quality natural ingredients available in the world. We never cheapen on quality or botanical raw materials!

Aloe Vera

Providing moisture to cuts on the skin can help facilitate healing, this is due to a compound in aloe vera called glucomannan, which can help with wound and sunburn healing by improving collagen production. That healing is helped along by antioxidant vitamins C and E. The antibacterial properties allow aloe vera to be useful for the treatment of minor cuts and wounds to prevent infection and also contribute to how it can be effective for acne.

Mainstream Brands Vs Natural Elements

Reversing the damage can be possible by stimulating cells and providing the necessary nutritional components cells need to stay strong and healthy. In typical skin care brands, these components are provided artificially through man-made chemicals or through artificial stimulus to provide ‘instant’ gratification results.

However, extensive research has shown these synthetic stimulus & artificial nutritional benefits have long term negative effects, which include further accelerated ageing such as skin thinning, allergic reactions, environmental damage and even acceleration of cancer cells.

The alternative to stopping free radical damage is through organic plant oils and fruit extracts, which have the necessary nutritional components cells needed for cells to stay strong and healthy. The purer and better quality the plant is turned into an oil the higher concentration of nutritional and vitamin benefits they have.

The best way to intake the necessary components to slow free radical damage is high concentration oils. The oil molecule is better suited to be absorbed through the dermis skin layers and into the blood stream. Whereas a cream or gel is too large and will retain on the surface levels, providing great hydration benefits but little nutritional benefits.

Molecular Geometry In Botanicals

We’ve spent the last 5 years working with UK universities in the longitude of human cells using the benefits found in botanical oils. We are the only natural skin care brand conducting this kind of ‘skincare beyond beauty’ research. We are looking at the long-term benefits of using organic oils vs the skin care industries current standard, which is based on providing instantaneous visible results (such as skin peels and retinols).

The term ‘conscious beauty’ is used quite often as a phrase to empathise a brands belief in concentrating holy on its customers and the environment. Yet, it often just appears on the surface and deep down the core of the brand acts almost soulless, ignoring its customers rather than helping & interacting with them.

Healthy Products For a Healthy Planet

We are passionate about the environment and avoid synthetic ingredients at all costs. From our ethically sourced ingredients to only using a natural preservative! All of our packaging is recycled and recyclable and we have and will never test on animals.

Some of our oils are more expensive than others and this is down to the quality of the botanical oil and the rarity of the oils production. Simply put the better quality of the oil (and the higher concentration of benefits) the more expensive they become.
