How to Rebuild Collagen for Firmer, Younger Looking Skin

Collagen is one of the major structural proteins in your skin, helping to maintain its strength, firmness and elasticity. It also plays an important role in keeping skin looking healthy and hydrated.

As we age, collagen production naturally declines. This can contribute to changes such as loss of firmness, reduced elasticity, dryness and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

But supporting the skin’s natural collagen-building processes is possible.

One of the key factors is providing the skin with the right amino acids WHICH YOU MAY HAVE HEAR OF AS PEPTIDES  — the building blocks and signalling molecules involved in collagen production and skin repair.

The important question, however, is how effectively those ingredients can reach the skin and be used by its cells.

Simply putting amino acids into a cream does not automatically mean they will penetrate the skin effectively. Their ability to reach the deeper layers depends on their molecular size, concentration, formulation and the way they are delivered and creams are too big of molecules to do so and here is the biggest miss-leading fact  collagen supplements don't get to the skin ever they also can be absorbed through the digestion walls

This is where our approach is very different.

As cellular scientists, we have worked with academics at Birmingham University to investigate how our botanical oil formulations interact with the skin and how their naturally occurring compounds can penetrate beyond the skin’s surface.

Our botanical oils contain naturally occurring proten compounds, including essential fatty acids and other bioactive components, that can support the skin’s natural processes and provide many of the nutrients involved in maintaining healthy skin.

And this is where the oil itself becomes important.

Rather than simply placing a long list of active ingredients into a conventional cream base, our formulations use carefully selected botanical oils. Their natural lipid structure is compatible with the skin and allows the formulation to interact  deep within the skin where collagen is where creams are stuck on the surface which has zero collagen

So when you apply one of our face oils and massage it into the skin, you are delivering a highly concentrated combination of naturally occurring botanical compounds designed to support the skin’s natural renewal and collagen-building processes.

It isn't simply about putting collagen or amino acids on the surface of the skin.

It is about understanding what skin cells need, how those compounds interact with the skin, and how to formulate them in a way that gives them the best opportunity to be utilised by the skin.

That is the difference between simply creating another skincare cream and approaching skincare from a cellular science perspective.
